more seasonable coming up. kelly. >> thanks a lot wyatt. baltimore city police say a man stumbled on to someone's front porch after being shot in east baltimore. the victim stumbled on the homeowners porch of north broadway around 10:15 this morning. the homeowner has no idea who the man is, he is suffering some multiple gunshot wounds to his chest. he was taken to johns hopkins hospital where he died, they do not nowhere the shooting happened and they are still trying to filling out all the details now. a settlement has been reached in a lawsuit over a deadly crash on the bay bridge in the summer of 2008. 57-year-old john short survived after he swerved his tractor- trailer to miss an oncoming car. it crashed through a jersey shore and plunged into the bay. she had a blood alcohol level of .03 which prosecutors decided was too low to press

a woman held in an iranian prison more than 13 months says she hopes to meet with the iranian pet while he is in new york. sarah shourd was taken into custody with two other americans while hiking at the border of iraq/iran last year, she wants them to know she has no animosity. her fiance and their phren friend remain in prison. we're following a developing story that may impact you who tried to use a credit card in wal-mart or sanskrited the. they only accepted cash for several hours, we called around and sure enough there was some sort of technical blitz that had shut down the retailers computers. we caught up with one shopper who first tried to go shopping at the sam's club in cockeysville. they had signposts that said cash only so i went to try to make a purchase, they said all the systems are down across the country.

sha rejohnson has five tips of correct seatbelt use of your children. >> this week many organizations are coming together to remind parents to make sure children are secured correctly in cars or suvs. whether it's car seats or seatbelt use, children need to be secured. in order to move children out of safety seats to shoulder belt the child should be at least four feet 9" which usually happens between ages 8 and 12 years old and the safety belt fits properly. myra we man with aaa mid- atlantic foundation offers five tips for using a seatbelt correctly? the first tip is that we want to keep the belt off of the belly. this portion is soft tissue and we epidemic don't want it to ride up on the soft portion of the belly and we want to it lay directly in the center of the shoulder. we don't want a child to misuse the belt by putting it under their arm because a seatbelt is designed to limit forward mobility. in the event of a crash, misuse

researchers examine the routine activities in nearly 100,000 women aged 550 to 71 years old. they found that increases in routine activity during the day like biking to work or walking throughout the kay may be protective against developing breast cancer. women who recorded heavy lifting as a part of their regular routine had a 38% lower risk of breast cancer compared to those who are inactive most of the day. sedentary behavior may lead to insulin sensitivity, fat storage and etcetera from again changes, all of those factors have been shown to be relative in breast cancer development. many post menopausal women do not reach the activity levels of cancer prevention so working physical activity into your normal routine may be a good way to reduce the risk of breast cancer. with this medical minute, i'm dr. timothy johnson.

>> abc 2 is working to keep your community safe each week, we're highlighting recent crimes in your neighborhood. this week baltimore city police are asking for your help to track down a murder suspect. 24-year-old vincent clark has been charged with the december 2007 murder of richard dawson. they say clark killed dawson in the 2500 block of chelsea terrace in northwest baltimore and has been on the run ever since. dawson is 5-foot 9" tall and weighs about 145 pounds, he has been known to frequent is liberty and fairen son parts of the city. anyone with any information is asked to call city police at (410)396-2100, you can see more of our reports by heading over to abc 2news.com/crime checker. brian keep letter, abc 2 news. a settlement has been reached in a lawsuit over a deadly crash on a bay bridge in the summer of 2008.

57-year-old john short died after he swerved his tractor- trailer to avoid hitting candy baldwin's on coming car. the truck crashed through a jersey barrier and plummeted into the bay. baldwin's attorney says his family has agreed to a $100,000 settlement. baldwin had a blood alcohol level of .03 which prosecutors said was too low to press criminal charges, she was charged with traffic offenses. starting today, the changes from president barack obama's health care bill go into effect. young people will be able to stay on their parents' plan until they are 26. and they can no longer pull the plug on kids just because they have a preexisting condition. insurers now have to provide free preventative services including mammograms and colonoscopes with no could pay.
